Big Day for Appointments

It was a banner day for setting appointments and establishing time frames. First of all, our eye appointments were rescheduled, my colonoscopy was rescheduled and Josie's doctor appointment was rescheduled. She also gained a commitment from the 19th Ave store at Phoenix Flower Shops for Mother's Day which indicates we will remain at the Pioneer RV Resort through May 13. She will begin working sometime around May 3.

The other important details from yesterday are that we committed to retain our current insurance provider (Liberty Mutual) after long exchanges with GEICO which was a close second in our evaluation. The big reason for not switching to GEICO was that their homeowner policy premiums were much higher than we have now. Speaking of homeowner, we also found out that the inspection of our home for the lease renewal will take place this morning at 9 AM. We should see results by this evening. Assuming all is well there, the lease renewal will be signed very soon.

So, it was a very good and productive day.

We start back to work today - for one day before getting two more days off to start our new week on the schedule. We have an appointment on Friday to get service on the Escape. The calendar is filling up. Our game today will be played in record heat - expected to be about 92. That's much too hot for this time of the year in AZ...
