We used the day yesterday to get some of the chores done that we still have on our to-do list. The first stop was at Home Depot where we picked up the locks we need for our shed. Our shed requires two locks - one for the doors, and one for the sliding top. We wanted to find two locks that use the same key. Done.
The next stop was at Walmart where we picked up a couple shelves for our closets in the bedroom. It really helps to better organize things when you have extra shelving. Done.
We then stopped by Josie's shop in Sun City and picked up her paycheck. We weren't sure if the banks would be open on Good Friday, but discovered that they were, so we deposited her check prior to going to Mario's for our haircuts in Surprise. We use the same hairdresser and she was working yesterday. Done.
Our day ended back at home right at 5 PM and allowed us to pick up our mail which was a package containing some RV light bulbs that we ordered from Amazon.com to replace burned out bulbs in the rig. Done.
Prior to leaving for our chores, I ordered more chord for our two remaining day-night shades to be restrung. They are ordered from a company in Indiana that manufactures the pleated day-night shades that we use in our fifth wheel. That is a fairly easy project that we will complete sometime in the next week or so after the chord arrives.
It was a good day as far as getting things done and we hope to follow that with another day (today) of prep for our trip in about three weeks...
