The news from yesterday is that we will most likely have to alter our plans slightly for our trip north. Josie's manager indicated that they really needed her to work on the Monday and Tuesday following Mother's Day as there will be many orders that didn't make it on Mother's Day and there will be replacements that need to be done. Also, at her doctor's appointment yesterday, she found out that the earliest she could get her Endoscopy done is May 15. So, our plan to leave on Tuesday the 13th is out the window. It looks like I will need to plan a new schedule that has us leaving on the 16th and will have to eliminate some, if not all, of our planned stops at some nice areas we haven't previously visited. More on that in the next day or so.
No matter when we leave, we still only have about three weeks left to get everything done. Actually, we have most of the sorting done, but will have to make at least one more trip to our primary storage unit in Surprise. It shouldn't be too much of a problem to get ready.
I suspect that the extra days will be spent in really hot temperatures. The heat will definitely be here in mid May and we expect 100+ degrees every day leading up to the time we leave. It will be nice to get out of town and into the cooler north...
