Lunar Eclipse

It was a normal day - Josie was at work, I did some work on fixing a few nuisance problems in the rig and also did some research on the computer. The main activity for the day occurred at midnight last night when we had an opportunity to see our first full Lunar Eclipse. It was tough taking pictures of the moon in the black sky, but we did get a couple of decent shots. This first one shows the progression of the eclipse through all of the stages:

This second one shows the full eclipse a bit closer:

Although this is referred to as the "Blood Moon", it never appeared to us as being totally red. It was still a rare occasion and one that was worth getting up at midnight to witness.

There are more small projects that need to be completed inside the fifth wheel in the next week or so. There are some trim repairs inside and some re-staining of a couple areas on wood that has been slightly damaged as a result of our refrigerator problem a year or so ago. That caused some water to leak from the refrigerator that resulted in some trim being discolored. It seems that more things are going wrong now that we have lived in the rig for almost 6 years. It is probably no different than any home where maintenance issues always occur over time...
