The final arrangements were made yesterday for our planned trip to Vegas on Sunday. We will stay at the Circus Circus Hotel & Casino on Sunday and Monday on a complimentary stay, and on Tuesday night for $29.95. That means that we will get off work about 1 PM on Sunday in order to get an earlier start. It should be fun. We need to enjoy it because it is a marathon work schedule when we return while Chi Chi and Jaymie take their 4 day trip to Vegas.
Josie again worked a split day yesterday although she got home at a decent time, 8 PM. We had a bout with wasps in the afternoon and Bob had to go locate wasp spray to get rid of them before they built a nest. Since our store only carries insect spray, he had to go to the store at Clint's Well to get it. The job is done.
We are expecting a visit today from our niece, Amy and her two children Jason and Jessica. It turns out that Brian, our nephew, has scheduled an 8 mile hike in the Happy Jack area. He will be hiking with the Pastor (George Minor) from our old church in California whom he has hiked with for many years. Amy and the kids will just hang out at the trailer and enjoy the resort until the hikers return. We hope to be able to spend some time with them today between work schedules. They are all meeting for breakfast at the Long Valley Cafe at Clint's Well at 7:30 this morning. It will be great to see them again.
