The day went just according to plan yesterday. We had a leisurely breakfast and left for Flagstaff at about 10:30.
It is interesting that every time we pass the Mormon Lake on the way to Flagstaff, it is getting more and more dry. If it loses any more water it will be completely dry. We did have some rain yesterday but that lake needs a lot more than a brief storm. It will be even more interesting to see the lake level when we return next summer - assuming that we do. Flagstaff is becoming very familiar to us now that we go there often. We don't even have to set the GPS any more to get around. Our errands yesterday included stopping at the Alltel office to put time on our prepaid phone (there is a discount if you do it at the store vs on-line), a haircut for Bob (one of the worst ever), and visits to Sam's Club and Safeway. We were done and on the way home by 3 PM and relaxed the rest of the day.
Today will require a short trip to Payson to pick up a prescription for Josie and then we plan to spend a lot of time calling prospective Workamping opportunities and emailing our resume. It sure is a lot easier locating summer gigs than it is one for winter. It would really be nice if we could locate a good one that we could return to for a couple years so we don't have to search for a new one each year. After a couple years we expect to have the pressure off for having to find work. We are looking forward to that time...
