RV Show Scheduled

The annual RV show which is held at the Peoria Sports Complex is scheduled for February 7th to the 17th. This is the "big" show for this area and the one that we went to last year at about the same time. We aren't sure what our next move will be - upgrade to a newer, large 5th wheel, downsize the whole RV and tow vehicle and rent a home somewhere, or try to get some property in a nice area where we can still use the RV and build something. We like to attend these shows to see all the changes in the RV's and also to keep an eye on the prices. I think if we made a decision today, we would look for a property in one of our desirable areas and use the 5th wheel as a part time residence and build a small cabin to use in the peak season, either winter or summer, depending on where it is located. We have also considered upgrading our 5th wheel and staying with the current schedule of winters at Lake Pleasant and summers in Jackson, but we also know that there will come a day when we don't return to Jackson to work at the Lodge. I guess we'll cross that bridge when we get there. We are always open to other, attractive alternatives. One thing we are almost certain about, and that is that an RV, of some type, will always be a part of our lives.

So far, the days have been normal for Josie at the shops where she is scheduled. She again was home yesterday by 2:30, which is her normal time. The orders are building, but not to the extent that they need more time to fill them at the end of the day. Valentine's Day is only 11 days from now, so we will see how next week goes.

Our spring training class is scheduled for Sunday at 11 AM, so we will most likely try to do the RV show following that training session since the Peoria Sports Complex isn't that far from where we will be training in Surprise. We have also talked about going when the show opens on Friday - tomorrow - as Josie has the day off and we will be in that area to pick up her paycheck. Whatever the choice, we will definitely be at the show this weekend...
