I received confirmation yesterday for a final training session - one-on-one - at the stadium today. At 10 AM today I will meet with the Manager to go over the duties I will have at the Spring Training games beginning on Friday. There is another Lead that I met at our last training session on Sunday (Troy Clark) who will join me at the training session. I'm sure it will involve paperwork and balancing procedures which require us to start earlier, and remain later, at each game. That report will be in tomorrow's blog entry.
We were suppose to help Carole Cole - our friend who lost her husband, Dick, suddenly last year - move into her new residence. She purchased a double wide home near the golf course and needed help moving from her rented Villa to the home. Evidently, the home didn't close on schedule as we didn't receive a call from her to come and help unload her moving truck. We all know that those closings can be delayed for lots of different reasons, the most popular one being that the funds didn't get wired in time. Anyway, I can help her today following my training session if she still needs help. Josie has to work at the flower shop again, so her day is planned.
Our neighbor - and owner of the space we are renting - is gathering details for a major renovation and construction project on this space before next year. He is planning to change the boundaries on this space and add a casita and possible outdoor entertaining area to include a grill and kitchen area with running water and refrigerator. It will be something to see when it's all done. He also plans further improvements on his own space, including constructing a cover for his Beaver motorhome.
We are expecting a storm to come through today, so it will get very cool and be wet for most of the day...
