What we thought was going to be a night with just a little bit of homework turned out to be another marathon. It wasn't until 11 PM again before we finished and went to bed. And, we didn't complete every assignment that we had. The main reason for that is continuing computer software problems that extend these homework periods to probably double what they should be.
Almost the entire day yesterday was spent in role playing situations and team presentations. Those kinds of classroom activities tend to make the days go faster, so that's okay.
There have been an unusual number of management changes at this particular Community and the residents are upset, as you would expect. The Regional Manager came in to speak at the lunch to try to make them feel better about the changes, but she failed. We hope this is an isolated situation and not one that is common throughout the system. We're confident that it is, since all the other visits we made to the Communities outside were ones that had happy and satisfied residents.
T.G.I.F. The week has been very long and we are looking forward to having some free time this weekend. The main assignment for this weekend will be for us to visit a competitor Community, to be assigned to us by our instructor located in the town we would like to visit over the weekend. It should be fun.
We're headed down to breakfast now so we'll see 'ya later...
