Yes, it's late. This is probably the latest I've ever posted an entry since I began this practice about 3 years ago. We had a busy morning and wanted to get a head start for the day, so I put the blog on hold.
Friday was a day that was spent entirely in role play situations within the Community. We all played the role of the greeter of a prospective resident, accompanied them to a private room, interviewed them (pre-qualified them) and set up a follow up tour for them at a later time. It helped speed up the day but for the most part, it was not an exercise, in our mind, that provided the return on the time spent that they had hoped for. The day ended with a discussion of our competitor shop visit - another independent living community that our instructor chose for each of the couples - that was to take place over the weekend. Josie and I decided to do ours first thing today to get it out of the way.
Other than that, we were very happy to see the week end. We also chose to get a head start on our computer assignments last night for the weekend so that they wouldn't be a last minute rush for us. Our turn to be the resident team on e-call alert is Sunday night, starting at 7 PM, so we have less time to complete our weekend assignments. That involves our spending the night in the Community until 7 AM Monday morning.
You probably will get a chance to read tomorrow's blog entry about the time you read this, so I'll just end this entry for Friday...
