Final Exam Taken

Yesterday's classroom work was totally opposite of the day before. The entire morning and early afternoon were lecture topics and it was difficult to stay concentrated on the content. Everybody was eager to get on with the final exam and be gone for the day.

It was the last day for Cyndie (on the right, below), the 2nd person on the training team with Mary:

and she was the person responsible for handling all our expenses during the training class.

We finally got to the final exam stage of training at around 3:30 PM and the fun began. It was a totally open book exam and it didn't matter as the questions were difficult and was a real test of our note taking ability. Questions were multiple choice, true or false and fill-in the answers, and there were 62 total questions on the exam. Following the exam, all of us were shaking our heads and just hoping we got enough answers right to pass the test. We'll know this morning when we review the results in class.

It was such a relief to be past this stage of training, and some of us went downstairs off the hotel lobby after changing clothes and just relaxed and visited over glasses of wine and appetizers from the hotel menu:

It's down to the final day - or half day as we suspect. All that is left is the review of the exam and some one-on-one assessments by Mary with each couple that will last for probably 15 minutes each. Everyone is checking out of the hotel this morning, with the exception of Josie and I, and they will head to Portland after class. We are the only couple scheduled to depart from Eugene early tomorrow morning.

We had a brief conversation with Terri - one of the interim managers at Arcadia Place in Vista CA, and she was able to convince our Regional Director to allow a couple more days for us to get transitioned to the new location and get our apartment set up. So, instead of reporting for work next Friday, we have until Sunday to get moved and situated.

It's been a long 2 weeks, but we are finally at the end...
