It was a runaround day yesterday. We both got haircuts and while Josie was out doing some last minute shopping I did more shredding and sorting of boxes filled with files. We picked up our mail at the Happy Trails Post Office and did some other miscellaneous stuff before starting to pack in the late afternoon. We also stopped at the Red Robin and had a great hamburger for a late lunch which also served as dinner.
It's been quite a while since we've had to pack for such a long time - 2 weeks. That made for some tough decisions on how much of everything to pack since we would have access to a laundry in the Community where the training will take place. Anyway, we got all packed and ready to go.
It was shortly after 3 AM when we got up this morning and after having some breakfast will head to the airport where I have a parking space reserved at an off site parking facility near the airport. We've used them before and know the procedures for parking and connecting with the shuttles.
Our flight leaves at 7 AM so, by leaving at around 4:30, we will allow (hopefully) enough time to get parked and through security before it's time to leave.
This is it. The official beginning of our new adventure. Hang on for the ride...
