We started planning our return trip to AZ yesterday. It will be a familiar route from Jackson to Phoenix. The first day, on October 2, will be a stop at the Deer Creek State Park in Utah, near Salt Lake City. That will be followed by a night in Mesquite, NV and then arriving in Laughlin, NV on October 4. We plan to spend two nights in Laughlin before heading to Phoenix and the Pioneer Resort on October 6. Reservations have been made at Deer Creek and we are waiting on confirmation for our reservation in Laughlin at the Riverside Campground. We have taken this route before and enjoyed what we call the "last hurrah" before settling in at Pioneer.
Our weekend ends today and we start work at 11 AM. There will be four straight days of closing before opening on Sunday. Our countdown is about to begin as we have just over four weeks to go...
