Our brief attempt to possibly pursue openings with the Bowlin Travel Centers was derailed yesterday. Their Director of Operations indicated that there were no openings for the winter season in any of the AZ locations. That bit of news was offset by the news that another opportunity might be available to us that we have wanted to do for several years. We will hold off on the news of that possibility until more details are worked out. Our desire to spend the winter season in a warmer location may take a back seat to fulfillment of this target of ours. We expect to have more info today.
We are getting closer to the "big" day of the eclipse. More and more steps are being taken to try to control the extra volume of visitors expected. Right now, there are 100K more visitors expected in town for that event. We have no idea how things will go or how people are going to move around town with the gridlock expected. It promises to be an event of a lifetime, any way it turns out. Ten more days to go, so hold on to your hat...
