Milestone

Today is a milestone reached that I never thought possible. This is the 3000th entry in the blog that started over 8 years ago as a journal for our family to be able to follow our adventure. So much has happened during the eight years - as you can imagine - and we are still enjoying the lifestyle and the benefits of being mobile and meeting so many new friends. Someday, we will completely retire and end the blog. I have only missed a couple days throughout the period that is covered, and some of those entries have been made in near impossible conditions with little or no Wi-Fi and/or cell communications being some distance away. Our travels have been tremendously rewarding, and will continue for the foreseeable future as long as we are healthy enough to make it work.

In the meantime, we have another "quick turnaround" day today as we closed last night and have to open this am. The talk and preparations are heating up for the eclipse which is now only 9 days away...
