When we packed up our rig for our travels, we neglected to pack some Christmas decorations. Our storage space in Surprise, AZ is half full of Christmas stuff. Maybe it was because it was May when we packed up and weren't thinking anything about Christmas, but there is no way we would get through the holidays without some. So, back to El Centro and Walmart and Costco to stock up - or re-stock up. It really hurts not to have some cash coming in now because this is the time of year when it is most important. Anyway, we got some decorations and it can at least look a little like Christmas. Josie has a few more small items she wants to get before the holidays and then we'll be done. Decorations always help to get you into the Christmas spirit, and we can feel the difference already.
Our schedule has us working today between 6 PM and 9 PM. It is a total waste for us to be working those hours when there is no business. Actually, we will be "baby sitting" the park in case somebody tries to sneak in without paying. The park is practically empty now that the Thanksgiving holiday is over. We continue to search for alternatives and hope that something happens in the near future that removes our frustration. In the mean time, we try to remain positive and look at this as just a bump in the road that will get smoother as time goes by...
