Entering the Long Stretch

This is the tough part of our season now. The crowds are beginning to grow and the holidays are over. For the next two months we will be seeing more foreigners and more vacationing families. It will be a challenge for us to maintain our enthusiasm as the scheduling problem has had an effect on the whole staff. The fact is that none of us are getting the hours we had expected and there is no solution that is obvious. Our goal for the season is to make enough money to allow us some choices with our RV that we don't presently have - like trading it to eliminate unnecessary expenses. It might be a tough goal to achieve at the present rate. We still love the area and will be doing whatever we can to make it worthwhile.

We received a photo of some work that we agreed to have performed on our landscaping. The work was done and it looks great. We changed landscapers before we left and this one is much better than our previous one. These photos are the ones he sent showing the palm trees trimmed and our large bush in the front trimmed to a smaller size.

Everything else seems to be in order.

We're off to work at 9 AM today and will be home at 5 PM. it seems a little strange to have normal hours for one day....
