Split Results

The main attraction yesterday was the beginning of the 2015 football season. The Seahawks played in St Louis where they always have a close game and yesterday was no different. They came roaring back in the fourth quarter from an 11 point deficit to take the lead - 31-24 - with less than a minute to play. The game was won before the Seahawks' defender fell down on pass coverage and allowed a last minute score by St Louis. St Louis eventually won in OT 34-31. The Seahawks weren't sharp, but I like the way they came back - they will be fine this year. It doesn't get any easier as they travel to Green Bay next week to play the Packers who have a payback for the Seahawks who beat them in the NFC Championship game last year on a miraculous comeback.

The afternoon was much better as the Cardinals looked terrific in their win over the Saints - 31-19. If they can stay healthy, they will have a great year. It will be exciting at the end of the season to watch the Cardinals and Seahawks, who should be at the top of the NFC rankings.

My recovery is going well and I am still feeling great after my surgery. I am following the rules and not doing much in the way of activity, although we did go to Fry's in the afternoon for some groceries. I'll stay the course and eventually all will be back to normal again...
