Heading for Summer

I mentioned last week that we were about to hit the 90 degree mark. That will happen by this weekend when it is expected to reach the mid 90's. That's a harsh reminder of how it is going to be almost on a daily basis before too long. That really helps make any decisions on whether to leave AZ for the summer or stick it out in the oven. It's the only thing I have against Arizona - baking in the summers. We like to get out and hike and bike in the summer which is one of the main attractions in Wyoming. It works a lot better in 80-85 degree temperatures versus 110-115 degrees.

That brings up another point in favor of Wyoming. Josie and I get the same days off and have the same work schedule - together. It sure beats the willy-nilly schedules we have had this winter when we occasionally get more than one day off together each week. It makes it difficult to plan anything or to schedule something together when we only have one day a week - maybe - to do other necessary things. As I said before, it is never easy.

We are only about 7 weeks away from closing on our house and we are beginning to get a little nervous about finalizing our plans. There are lots of things we need to do to coordinate everything. It is going to be interesting, to say the least.

I have a full day scheduled at Sam's Club today while Josie works her normal 8 to 4:30 schedule. At least now we have two economical vehicles to use for daily travel...
