Full Days Ahead

We finally reached the weekend (for us) and the weather looks terrific. Our plan is to do Yellowstone today for the last time this season, and to drive to Idaho Falls tomorrow to replenish some of our goods that are cheaper at Sam's Club, and to get haircuts and make a stop at Michael's for Josie to pick up a few craft items. The rain is behind us - at least for the next couple days - and it looks like we can get out and enjoy the sun.

We usually make a full day out of our Yellowstone trips which includes packing a picnic lunch. We stocked up on groceries and some snacks yesterday at Smith's in town, so we are prepared for the trip. Along with a nice day in the park, we expect to meet Scott and Valerie at their work location to say goodbyes for another year. They will leave Yellowstone next week and travel back to Campbellsville, KY, to work at Amazon for their fifth year. We still have another full month ahead and have agreed to work through the first week of October to help out. As much as we tend to complain about what happens at work, it is still the best opportunity for us to enjoy our favorite summer location at an attractive price - free.

It's getting late already this morning, so I'll close for now and get ready to head out for our trip...
