It was a very slow moving low pressure area that created all the rainfall we've had the last several days. It finally ended by late afternoon yesterday, and by 5 PM we could see shadows from the sun that has been missing for the last three days. We even saw the sun in all its glory:
The clouds cleared rapidly and by the time sunset arrived, the sky was almost totally clear as can be seen in this shot taken over the sailboat storage area behind our site:
The rest of the week is forecast to be nice with warming temperatures. The last three days we have had highs of 57, 57 and 56. Brrr! We are still happy to be here as Jackson had a high of 35 yesterday, and a low of 15!
We did travel to Surprise yesterday morning to fill the tank of the truck and to stop at our storage unit to pick up a couple items. Also, Josie wanted to pick up some yarn for a project she is working on so we stopped at the Walmart around the corner from storage. We then opened up the gazebo curtains again when we returned home and also checked out everything in our shed to make sure all was well - and dry.
This week - Thanksgiving week - is a short work week for Josie following her 6 days of working last week. She will work today through Wednesday and enjoy a four day weekend. The volume is increasing, rapidly, so she will be very busy on the three days she works this week. The big task for our Thanksgiving weekend will be to put up all the outside Christmas decorations and finish off the the inside of the fifth wheel with more Christmas items. It should be a nice week to enjoy the Thanksgiving holiday...
