One More Casino

It was 3:30 when we finally got off work and got ready to leave for Menifee to begin our 2 days off. While traveling north to our destination, we thought it would be nice to begin our free time with some relaxation at a casino. Our GPS said there was one that was only about 20 miles northeast of us at San Jacinto.

We stopped at the fifth wheel and unloaded the couple of items we brought with us, plus some food, and then headed out for the Soboba Casino:

They advertised 2,020 slots and they were probably right. After signing up and getting our Players Club card - about the 30th in our growing collection of casino cards from around the country - we walked around looking for the easy mark. Alas, there was none. We played for almost 3 hours but, in the end, they got our money. While winning several medium size jackpots, we never hit the big one to make it a profitable night. That's OK. We don't start with much and when it's gone, we leave. It's the enjoyment we get while playing and anticipating hitting the big one.

The day has dawned beautiful and warm and we already set up the picnic table for our outdoor breakfast this morning. The Ranger just dropped off our newspaper for the day, so I'm going to head outside and get started...
