More on the Springs at El Cajon

Our second day at the Springs at El Cajon was very busy as there were some different activities for us to complete. It wasn't without incident though. We had an emergency to deal with in the kitchen when the soux chef cut his finger with a new knife and we had to do the paperwork for him to take to the hospital for stitches. The paperwork included forms for drug testing and for the attending Physician to complete, and paperwork for short term disability in case he couldn't work. We got that done and even though it wasn't pleasant, it was a new learning experience for us.

We did the normal Community stuff like coffee and tea service at the meals and I made calls to prospects while Josie got involved in handling housekeeping issues. The net of the 2 day experience was very positive and the managers are anxious for us to return next Monday and Tuesday for our second stint there. That is always a good sign when they want you to come back. Before leaving last night to return to Arcadia Place, we took some photos of the Community. Beginning with the front entry:

and these shots of the beautiful courtyard that is in the center of the complex:

Every Community has it's unique differences that make them nice places to live.

The managers allowed us to leave a little early last night so that we could go and pull out our fifth wheel from the storage space and place into a campsite this morning before returning to work at 11 AM. We are rushing around to get ready to leave and get that done so that we will be ready to go on Thursday afternoon when we leave work at 3 PM. With that, we will cut this entry a little short and get on the road to Menifee...
