We had a very smooth morning yesterday as we were solo again until 11 AM. The leak was discovered that caused the ecall the night before and it was located and repaired by noon. The water had to be shut off in the Community, but only for about a half hour.
Our 2 days of additional training in Operations got a late start as the instructor, who was scheduled to arrive at 10 AM, didn't arrive until noon. Our work schedule had us getting off at 3PM, but since we got a late start on the training, we didn't get home until 4:30. It didn't seem quite fair that our off time should be taken up with training, but that's the way it goes. The same will happen today. We are scheduled to start at 11 AM, but the instructor asked us to come in early at 10 AM.
Training aside, we received our new work schedule from Terri by phone and email from OK. We will work today and tomorrow, have Friday off (our normal day off), work a special event for a few hours on Saturday, and have Sunday and Monday off. They will be our new days off beginning next week. In other words, we will have the co-managers schedule where we have been on the managers schedule up to now. Rob and Jamie, the "floater" couple that has been here, will leave for their new assignment in 2 weeks. It makes little difference to us.
It's nice to have a little extra time on the days we are not scheduled for the full day. We are caught up on sleep and ready to go again...
