Thank goodness it's Friday. There has been a noticeable increase in the traffic on the freeways the last few days as Josie has taken longer to go back and forth to work. The prediction is for a record number of travelers this year, and I believe the forecast is correct. We hope that our drive to Laughlin on Sunday does not get impacted - too much - by the increase.

Speaking of our trip to Laughlin - I will do some shopping today to pick up a few items to take on our trip to use in our room. We like to have some food and drinks when we go to Laughlin so that we don't have to spend a lot of time and money eating in the restaurants. The only "for sure" meal we will eat out is the breakfast buffet that the Aquarius Hotel has each day. It is the best deal in town and the best spread anywhere in Laughlin that we have found. I believe that our promotion at the Riverside also includes some dinner discounts at that hotel.

We are also looking forward to our planned dinner with George and Cheryl tomorrow night. We will meet them at a Chinese restaurant in Anthem at 5 PM after Josie gets off work. It has been a long time since we have had Chinese which is a favorite of ours.

Our Christmas holiday is taking shape and we just need to push through these next couple of work days to be able to enjoy the season...
