All is Well

Josie's return to Phoenix Flower Shops was very pleasant and productive. She has her Mon-Fri schedule back - at the one store - and she is content with the arrangement. It looks like she is good to go for the foreseeable future. Cactus Flower now appears to be history - forever. We were hoping to get enough time off over the holidays to visit Patty and her family between Christmas and New Year's, but she will only be able to get, at best, a couple days off which would not be enough to justify the trip to Chicago. Maybe we can "steal" a couple days to do something special during that week.

It appears that Wisconsin has a chance to go to the Rose Bowl - if they can beat Ohio State for the Big 10 Championship. If that happens, there is a chance that Austin would come out to LA for the game to spend some time with his best friend (and Cotton Bowl MVP in 2017) Troy Fumagalli, who is expected to be the top NFL draft choice for Tight Ends in 2018. Along the same lines, his other friend - and former roommate - Corey Davis (who now plays for the Tennessee Titans in the NFL) will be signing Titans' Jerseys and sending them to Austin for Christmas. As he graduates from Western Michigan University in a couple weeks, it should be a wonderful Christmas season for Austin this year.

We have a few more houses that we want to do a drive-by on this weekend. Our options are still open although, at this point, we are leaning toward staying here at Pioneer RV Resort for at least the next year or so. The picture may be become more clear after this weekend...
