Since we came home early from Laughlin, yesterday became a nice day to relax before Josie returns to work today. We are trying to get things organized in the RV so that we can begin 2018 with a clean and fresh look. The next big chore will be to pack up Christmas and take it back to our storage unit. Part of the organization process is to make sure the files are in order so that the tax season goes smoothly. My goal for the week is to make sure that happens.
We got through the Thanksgiving holiday without too much damage to our weight control. December has not been kind to us. Both of us have pretty much ignored the calories this month with all the cookies, egg nog, chocolates and other high carb foods. Our challenge now is to put the brakes on the binges and start another program of healthy eating beginning next week. It is near impossible to make it through the Christmas season without enjoying the "fruits" of the season. Who wants to anyway as the Christmas season is traditionally the time for this kind of enjoyment.
This is the final week for the tenants in our home. The fun begins next week as we ready the house for the market and officially make it available for sale. We hope it all goes smoothly without any hitches...
