The calendar is filling up rapidly. Beginning with today, I have to get bloodwork done for my annual Physical which is scheduled for Monday. I received a schedule of appointments - nine - for my cataract surgery. These appointments begin on January 17 with pre-op procedures, have one eye done on February 1, the second one done on February 15, and several scans and post operation appointments in between and following the procedures. Josie will be having similar appointments with doctors for her back and also for her eyes early in the new year. It's all part of the plan to create the "Six Million Dollar Man" and "Wonder Woman".
While all of those appointments are to be fulfilled, we have the issues with the house to resolve. Our property manager indicated yesterday that the keys to the house will be turned over by January 2 (allowing for the New year's Day holiday) and then walk-through's and repairs, if needed, will be completed. We are still hoping for a fast sale and closing on the house so that we can move forward with the next phase - whatever that turns out to be. We have decided that renting a home is probably out of the picture. There are just too many things that we would have to do to any house to make it work for us and you can't do those things to a rental. So, it seems like we will take whatever time is required to locate the "right" home for us to buy and just continue renting our RV space here at Pioneer until that happens...
