Shame on Cardinals

If there was one game that I thought the Cardinals would win this season, it was the game yesterday against the Oakland Raiders - the bottom team in the NFL power rankings. Wrong. They lost, 23-21, AT HOME! What an embarrassment. They may not win another game this season.

Our decorating exercise is completed and we can see the floor again in the house after moving out the empty boxes. We are basically done decorating with the possible exception of some outside decorations. We will wait to see what the neighborhood does before rushing into covering our house with lights and outdoor Christmas décor. As of today, we see no indication that the houses on our street are going to do anything. I guess that is one aspect of living in an area where almost all of the residents are seniors (kind word) and/or part time residents. At any rate, we will wait until after our return from Chicago to address that issue.

Two more days of work for Josie before getting the rest of this week and the weekend off for the Thanksgiving holiday. She is really excited about that and we are anxious to start our holiday. I know that we will be facing mobs of people at the airports in Phoenix and Chicago, but that comes with the territory these days...
