Quiet Halloween

We weren't sure if there might be some activity on Halloween in our neighborhood, so we bought a couple of small bags of candy just in case. You know, there are always some people that like to dress up and trick or treat at any age. Well, everybody, in our neighborhood at least,  has passed that stage. We will have candy in our house for the foreseeable future without having to buy any more for any occasion.

Our landscaper showed up this morning with the material to begin our project. He expects to take two days to complete the main part of the project and then return on Saturday to wrap up the rest. We are getting excited to see some results.

Josie works today, has tomorrow off, then works Saturday before having Sunday and Monday off. It's a bit of a crazy schedule this week. The ownership is very pleased with her work so far and they will be giving her a key to the store so that she won't have to wait in the mornings for somebody to show, and they are also making some changes in the design area to make things a little easier for her to work. All is well on the job front (so far)...
