Broken Commitments

I spent another day dealing with broken commitments yesterday. The landscaping project was scheduled to be completed on Friday, and will not actually be completed until today - hopefully. The crew that showed up yesterday to finish the project was only two individuals whereas the first (partial) day we had five crew members working, albeit, only for a few hours. Yesterday, they didn't start until almost 1 PM. It's really difficult dealing with some folks these days as they have little pride in doing the job as promised. The work that is being done is very good, but its like pulling teeth to have it completed. That's OK as my landscaper doesn't get paid until the total job is completed. At any rate, it will be at least one more day before photos will be ready.

It was a terrible day for Penn State football yesterday as they were embarrassed, 42-7, by Michigan which is probably the final nail in their coffin for the 2018 season. It was nice, though, to see ASU upset Utah who was ranked #15 in the country before yesterday.

The twins saw an end to their high school football careers this weekend and Patty and Mark are without football in their family for many, many years. There is hope that Brandon will latch on to a football scholarship somewhere to continue the tradition. The plan is for them to move to AZ next year after graduation and Jordan is supposed to attend ASU. We are looking forward to those days ahead.

The big game today will be the Seahawks vs the LA Chargers. The Cardinals have a bye, so there is no worry about them losing another game today...
