The accident we had in Wyoming this summer is now history - totally. We received the last piece of the claim yesterday - our $500 deductible that we had to pay to get the repair work done. Our insurance company finally recovered the deductible from the at-fault party and the claim is now closed. It will be easy to forget about that experience.
The other piece of good new from yesterday was Austin's inclusion in the All Academic Team from the MAC Conference. It is and exceptional honor to be recognized for not only his on-field accomplishments, but also his academic accomplishments. He continues to make all of us proud of him.
There appears to be about two more nice days left before the rain and cool weather moves in for at least a week. The rain should only be for a day, but the temperatures will not go above the high 60's for the next week or so. We have lots of things to get done inside anyway, so when we see what's happening in the Midwest with single digit temperatures and snow, we'll take it...
