Rare Collapse

It has been 4 years since the Seattle Seahawks have lost a game - any game, regular season or playoff - by more than 10 points. Yesterday, in Green Bay, they stumbled and embarrassed themselves by losing 38-10 to the Packers. Russell Wilson threw a career high 5 interceptions and with a lost fumble, the Seahawks had 6 turnovers. I don't think they liked the frigid temperatures in Green Bay as the receivers dropped multiple passes to add to the fiasco.

Fortunately, the Cowboys also lost and the Cardinals - unfortunately - lost their chance to make the playoffs this year with another loss. It was not a great day for my favorites, but the Cowboy loss provided some joy. I hate them. The Seahawks have to pick up the pieces and move on, which they will.

While most of the rest of the country is being hit by the Arctic Blast, we are enjoying temperatures in the 70's. I know that there are cycles and that this scenario will change soon, but it is nice to sit out and enjoy the nice, warm sun again.

There are now only 12 days until Christmas and only 16 days before we leave for Texas and the Cotton Bowl. Time sure flies...
