Shake Down

The main objective for yesterday was to make sure there were no problems with our new car. We drove to Sam's Club - first visit since our return to the area - and a couple other places to make sure all is well. It is. The vehicle drives like a new car and has no apparent flaws or concerns.

We also tried to figure out when Josie should return to work. The shop might need her before we leave for Chicago to work a day or two which is OK. Otherwise, she will start after the 1st of November. She is anxious to see her friends and coworkers who are also anxious for her return. No matter what, Josie will go into the shop on Monday and take the gifts that she brought home from Wyoming and maybe even take a couple pizzas for lunch as a treat for them.

We scheduled  a dinner with George and Cheryl which will be tomorrow night at a new restaurant for us - Times Square - in Phoenix, near Peoria. We look forward to seeing them again and visiting to catch up on activities over the last four months or so.

Today will be  low key day to organize things for our trip next week to Chicago and to make sure we have everything we need for our visit with Patty and her family...
