We finally began the process of settling in for the next several months. No more "foolish" 500 mile trips. The only place we went yesterday was to Walmart to get some things. We will have to make a trip to our storage to get our grill and the table and chairs so we can have those to use while here. That appears to be on today's agenda.
There are a couple appointments that have been scheduled already. I have an appointment with my Audiologist for tomorrow, and we have to take the truck in on Tuesday for the appraisal for the rear-end damage we received in Jackson.
The big news from yesterday was that WMU (Western Michigan University) - Austin's team - won again to go 6-0 for the season. Once again, Austin played a huge role on special teams and was again praised by the announcers of the game for his stellar play. They will most certainly rise in the AP College Football poll this week. What a fun year to be watching college football. I'm sure that Austin is happy about the progress made by his team over the last 4 seasons. What a way to go out. I think we should start saving money to go to his bowl game this year which should be a good one if their quality play continues...
