New Mat is Down

We ran a few errands in the morning while waiting for the new outdoor mat to arrive. We priced some outdoor carpet to place along the side of the fifth wheel that might help keep down the dust when the wind blows. We found some good carpet that we will probably pick up today. At $.41 / SF, it is a good buy. Look for that in tomorrow's entry. That would complete our outdoor improvements for this year and is a far cry from what we spent last year on all the major improvements.

The new mat arrived in the early afternoon and we got that installed in place of the old, damaged one:

It looks good and will, hopefully, last another 5 or six years like the old one.

We fired up the grill for the first time this season and did a couple salmon fillets which were really good:

As we finished our dinner, we had our first opportunity to get a photo of the always beautiful Arizona sunsets:

There may be beautiful sunsets in other parts of the country, but I haven't seen any anywhere that can top these sunsets in Arizona...
