Yesterday was filled with preparation - both for ourselves and for the fifth wheel.
Josie was at the hairdresser for several hours while I put together clothes to go on the trip, pack away some things in the basement, made a list of last minute must-do items like turn off the water, lock up the bikes with our cable locks, set the plants in place for the sprinklers and put the pillows from the furniture in bags and put them in the storage shed. I think we are ready to go.
This morning - at 3 AM - we are getting everything out-the-door and in the Jeep. We had a quick breakfast, packed up last minute stuff like our computers and chargers, and loaded everything into the Jeep. The flight leaves Phoenix at 6:10 AM.
We're off to Chicago and we'll see 'ya tomorrow from Patty's...
