End of Olympics

It was kind of sad to see the Olympics end last night. It was a great 2 weeks for us and the athletes performed well and we were proud of the results. It seemed like there weren't as many gaffes as in previous Olympics where we either dropped a baton or forgot to show up for a preliminary heat somewhere and got eliminated. It was a joy to see the margin we won the medal count by and we were happy to see the host country, Great Britain, put on such a wonderful show and win a lot of medals to boot. Can't wait for the Rio games in 2016.

Following work yesterday and before we settled in to watch the closing ceremonies, we went to dinner at El Abuelito's Mexican restaurant again and had a nice meal. This time we passed on the Margs and our bill came to only $15 which is the way it should be all the time. :)

No more word on our next work assignment. There are still some emails that have not been responded to yet and we are still unsure about the next move. It may even take another couple weeks to finalize as the winter work assignments are tougher to nail down. With six weeks to go, we are waiting for an invitation to return here next year which we would like very much. Day three this week is about to begin...
