Probably the biggest news from yesterday was a job offer we received from a very nice Resort in Benson, AZ - Butterfield RV Resort. This was a park that we had applied to some time ago and were not chosen for the opportunity. They have since had one couple back out of their commitment as a result of health issues and they sent us an email asking if we would still be interested. It is in a great area and a pretty good job - both of us would work in the office, three days on and then three days off, working 5 hours each day. The problem is that there is no money offered, but your site and all utilities plus propane and laundry are free. There is also a 15% discount at the store. The offer is appealing, but it doesn't quite fit our goals for now.
There are a couple other options we are considering and we hope to have something finalized in the near future. Since we have about 7 weeks to go, there is no rush to accept an offer that we might be sorry for down the road. All we know for sure is that we want to take most of October off to relax and have some fun.
Day number 2 this week begins again at 7 AM. We enjoy working with Donna and it's also more fun when the managers are gone on the weekends. We really like this job and hope that we get asked back for next year...
