Finishing Up Last Day Chores

The days off just go too fast. There were some projects that didn't get done these last few days, but that was mostly due to Josie's computer virus problem which we think we at least have under control. We eliminated all of the contacts from her email account except one - me - to see if there would be any more offensive emails sent. There was one email that I received yesterday which tells us the virus is still there, but should be under control if I continue to be the only recipient of these emails. Eventually, we will have to get her computer "cleaned" professionally, but we can wait to do that.

I did get the water hose prepared for the cold weather. I actually swapped out the hose we had which was a 15' hose, for a shorter, 10' hose, which is all we needed for the water hookup. I wrapped it in the foam covering we used last year and it should be ready to go. Josie did some laundry and I also did more document scanning so that was the bulk of our last day off activities. After going to the store for groceries, it was about time for dinner so that ended our final day off this week.

Josie received an email from the HR person at Phoenix Flower Shops asking if she was planning to be in Phoenix this winter. They would like her to work for an individual - in the same shop she left several years ago - who is taking a maternity leave. We don't know the dates yet, but that was something we talked about over the last few weeks. She was going to send an email to them asking if they needed any help during the busy holidays next year - Valentine's Day and Mothers Day. If we can somehow agree on the dates, we would be in the Phoenix area for several months this winter, before heading out for our summer job - wherever that turns out to be. We have been anxious to get our storage unit emptied out and this may be the chance for us to accomplish that. Of course, we are committed here until late December, so the whole thing could fall through.

It's back to work this morning and we just hope the next 4 days go as fast as the last 3 days we had off. I doubt they will, though...
