Big Swings in Weather

Just when we think that summer is back, it turns to winter again. Yesterday was a lousy day, weather wise. It started out raining and rained all morning into the afternoon and the temperature hung around the low to mid 50's all day until the sun finally broke through in the afternoon. The high ended up at only 66, and it was 87 the day before. The total rainfall was ,25" but it was windy (27 MPH gusts) all day. Not a good day to do anything outside.

We ended up doing necessary things around the rig and Josie did laundry. I scanned some more documents and made some contact with potential employers through email. We are trying to get more details on the opportunity that we mentioned in southwestern Colorado for next summer. The owner of the campground contacted us last year following the Tampa RV Show and asked us to stay in touch. At that time, he already had his staff lined up for the 2011 summer season but wanted us to consider coming there next year for the 2012 summer season. It is one of our high priorities to spend some time in that part of the country. Hopefully, it will work out.

It is only 50 degrees outside this morning as we prepare to start our work week. It is back to our warmer clothes that we wore all last season while we were here. Actually, it is just replacing our shorts with jeans, and  taking a light jacket to wear while walking from the car to the entrance. The warehouse will almost certainly still be very warm. This is our least favorite day of the week, and it builds in satisfaction until 4:30  Monday when we get time off once again...
