Mini Golf

One thing about this area is that there are many miniature golf courses to choose from if you want to play. We had coupons from several different courses, but chose this one - Bonanza Golf - because it was one we drive by all the time and it looked interesting because it was on a "mountain". As we arrived:

we discovered we had to go through a gift shop in order to reach the start of the course. They get you coming and going at this course. There are actually 2 courses so we paid for rounds at both courses, since there is a huge discount if you purchase both rounds at once. We did a similar thing at the last course we played. Anyway, we chose the easier of the 2 courses - which wasn't so easy - and Josie got a hole-in-one at one of the more difficult holes that was a spiral, downhill drop of perhaps 10 feet. We had to get a shot of this from above the hole:

The ball really is in the hole.

It was a really nice course as you can see from this picture:

It was a close match and I only beat Josie by a few strokes as she is getting much better at this game. We will use the second round that we purchased at a later date.

Today is a full day of working the parking areas. I'm not looking forward to it as there is very little down time with this work detail. It is the 2nd game of Spring Training for the Braves, so from that standpoint it will be different. I don't believe there are any other events scheduled for the day.

We are close to making a decision on our next move from here. With spiraling gas prices it appears that a long trip to a workplace is probably not going to happen. At least, not all at once. We are leaning now toward the Big Pine Key opportunity. A final decision will be made this week...
