Packing Progress

Yesterday was a good start for sorting through clothes and other "stuff" in our closets. We have two boxes packed with clothes that will go to storage. Most of the clothes are heavy winter items along with some shirts and vests that were uniforms from previous jobs. We still have to empty closets that contain books and other items that we will not need in Texas. Hopefully, we can lighten the load to where we will have a safe rig to travel to Texas. It is always a problem to make sure you don't accumulate too much stuff and add enough weight to make it a dangerous load with which to travel. I'm debating now whether I should take my golf clubs. I haven't played in several years and the weight is a lot to carry for something that is not used regularly. That is just one example of items that need to be questioned.

I also settled up on our site here at the Resort. We are paid through the 13th and then we are out of her on the 14th.

There won't be too much more done today as the Super Bowl will dominate the activities for the day. Although Josie will probably not be too excited to watch the game and will spend her time doing sorting and packing. I hope that the Atlanta Falcons win, but the odds are favoring the Patriots. I just hope it is a good game.

This is the peak season for workamper job searches. The number of jobs being advertised is about triple the number normally published each day. Some of the jobs are intriguing, but we are set for the foreseeable future. We hope so anyway.
