Loose Ends

Trying to identify tasks that need to be done before we leave on the 14th is a real challenge. Another event/appointment that has to be cancelled is Josie's scheduled date for jury duty which is now scheduled for Monday, February 27. That won't happen, and we need to notify the court. Little things keep popping up that will have to be cancelled, or at least, delayed. Most of these loose ends are medical related and we will have to address them as we think of them. It's amazing how much we take for granted when there is no plan to change locations.

Decisions will have to be made on what goes with us and what goes to storage. There are clothing considerations, for sure, but I believe we will be close to AZ weather most of the year - except for the high humidity in Texas. It will bring back memories of growing up in the humid Philadelphia area. Also, there are other items - tables, chairs, appliances, etc. - that we will decide whether to take or leave behind. The unknown about how long we will be there is the overriding factor. We are going into this assuming that it could go beyond a year, and maybe two. On the other hand, it could be only a couple months if it doesn't work out. Our belief, from what we know so far, is that it will be long term...
