Working Alone

Yesterday I mentioned that our schedule had us opening the store for three days and closing for two days - alone. We worked from 7:45 AM until 11 AM yesterday with no help in the store. Then, only one other person came in to help. We missed our morning and afternoon breaks as there was no one to cover for us during those times. To make up for that, we left work early at 4 PM. Today will be a repeat except that there will be two people coming in at 11 AM.

Our friends Eileen and Ed are leaving this morning for visits to Yellowstone and Washington to visit family. They will be back in a few weeks for another visit in this area before heading back to their home in Florida. Meanwhile, we will be sticking it out at the Visitor Center at the Elk Refuge until the end of September...
