Another Moose

Our work day went about as expected. We did however, have pizza brought in for lunch by our management to thank us for our hard work this summer. That was a nice gesture and appreciated.

It rained most of the afternoon which surely helped with all the fire danger in the area.

I have not heard that our truck part has arrived or that the repair has been scheduled. I hope to hear something today. If not, I will contact them this afternoon to get and update.

This morning, we go to work at 10:45 and close tonight. The schedule continues to be our main complaint. It is all over the place as one day we open and the next we close. It is really hard to plan anything during any day of the work week. Oh, well.

While watching the start of the Today Show this morning, we spotted this cow moose walking directly behind our RV:

We never know when we will see one, but they frequently walk through the campground. It is kind of a nice benefit to staying here in this particular campground. We expect to see many more toward the end of our season as their movement picks up during the rut which should begin in late September or early October. It should get very exciting during that time...
