Extra Day Off

We decided that it was really nice having an extra day off this week. It could become the standard. Add to that the fact that we aren't scheduled in to work until 10:45 this morning, and we can certainly get used to this schedule.

Our target for the day was to get haircuts. We went to a salon in Jackson - Frost - that was recommended by our previous supervisor (Bridget) at the Moose Visitor Center. Sheesh. We can't afford more than one haircut every six months at the rates we paid for what we believe is a below average haircut. It cost us $135, including tip, to sit in the chair for about 20 minutes while the work was being done. We didn't even receive a styling for that money. There is no future for that place in our lives.

Our schedule only has us having the extra day off for the next three weeks. There are about 5 weeks left, so we might have to go the last two weeks working the original 5 day schedule. Maybe we'll get lucky and talk our supervisor into allowing the three days off each week for the rest of the way. Our fingers are crossed...
