Work Schedule

One of our employees at work is scheduled to leave next Saturday. She is one of the most dependable and best employees we have. Josie and I are already working solo shifts on days we open and/or close. There is a new couple slated to begin work next week, but they know nothing about the operation and it will take time to learn. Essentially, we will have more stress and will probably be working more hours by ourselves. Fortunately, there will be fewer people coming to the Visitor Center after September 1 as the schools will be open and fewer people coming here on vacation.

There are just over 6 weeks to go for the season. We can't say at this point if we will return next year. The final stretch this season will determine whether we will come back. There are times when we feel that we should move on and try another area, and there are other times that we are grateful to be able to spend the time we do in this part of Wyoming each summer.
