Wouldn't you know, the final day of work before enjoying our three day weekend, that I would have a hearing aid issue. When I got up yesterday AM, my left hearing aid wasn't working. I quickly tried removing wax from the ear which usually causes the problem about every five or six months. It still didn't work. The entire day at work was spent with just one effective ear which made communications very difficult - especially in the noisy environment where we work each day. It was a long day, to say the least.
The hearing aid problem has impacted our planned schedule for our three days. I have to go to the Audiologist this morning to have the hearing aid fixed, so Josie will use that time to do laundry and prepare a stew in the crock pot which she was going to do sometime over our weekend anyway. What it means is that our "hanging out" day will probably be today instead of Saturday. We still plan to spend one day in Yellowstone, and another day driving to one of the nice areas where we haven't been for several years.
It is really nice knowing that we have this three day rest from work. If only we could somehow get our schedule changed to 4 days every week, it would be fantastic...
