First Bison Sighting

We had been wondering what happened to all the bison that used to hang out near our campground. In years past, there have been entire herds of them roaming the area around our campground and we expected to see them again this year, but had not so far. Yesterday morning, on our way to work, the first one of the year appeared:

He was a giant and was traveling alone. Maybe he is the scout that was sent ahead to make sure the coast was clear for the rest of his family. We have never seen one traveling alone before.

Our marathon work week of six straight days before getting a day off continues today with our third day. So far, it isn't creating any problems for us. It may be tough by the time Friday rolls around, so we'll see.

It's time-and-a-half for today's effort, so bring it on....
